Overview
The grapes for this unique South African cultivar are from dry land vineyards on our Stellenbosch farm and tough gravel and sandy loam soils on our farm in Franschhoek.
The grapes were fermented in open fermenters and aged for 12 months in American and French Oak.
"Ripe cherry and tropical fruit on the nose with sweet and spicy flavours on the palate. A well balanced wine with an elegant mouthfeel that finishes well."
Delicious with ceps fillet, ripe cheeses or a traditional South African barbeque.
