Shiraz/Viognier

Overview

A co-fermentation of Shiraz and Viognier, this unique blend reveals spiciness, hints of violets, liquorice backed with peach and apricot flavours.
Fermented in upright stainless steel tanks and open fermenters with regular aerated pump overs and punch downs for a soft extraction.
Matured in a combination of 30% new French- and American Oak barrels for 13 months.


The rich and ripe Shiraz fruit is well supported by the floral scents from the Viognier. A well structured wine with soft tannins and spiciness with sweet berry fruit on the finish.
